Late May-early June comes flowering.
It is very important in the reproductive cycle of the grapes and the weather conditions are critical (it needs some heat and good weather). Flowering gives first indications on the quantity and quality of future grapes because bad fertilization results in a decrease in the number of berries and their size.
Flowers open, ejecting the cap and show the future pinhead size berry.
At Château Paillas winery the conditions were pretty good, one more step in the way to a nice harvest in 2008.
